Our Story
The only thing worse than receiving no gift is receiving a loveless gift.
We like it when it's good and we know how to live well. While studying at the Slow Food University in Piedmont, surrounded by white truffles and Barolo, we studied what distinguishes quality.
On our travels, we not only seek the best but also delve deeply into origins and production methods. We visit producers, explore growing regions, and learn the stories behind local food cultures. And repeatedly, we were asked if we could bring something back.
So we started compiling our experiences into boxes. One of our first customers received such good feedback from his gift recipients that he asked us to get him another bottle of wine as a gift for his unborn son (Yes, really!).
We took a closer look: Giant corporations produce waste, companies give it away thoughtlessly, recipients throw it away—an absurd chain of resource waste.
What matters to us?
Only the best. What is truly good. We know the places, the stories, the people behind the products. The producers receive the appreciation they deserve. The recipients love the products. The customers benefit from genuine connection instead of meaningless gestures.
Today, we call Hamburg and Berlin home—but our soul is always in the best regions of the world.

Meet the team
Levin Geyer
Managing Director
As Managing Director, I’m responsible for strategy, sales, and operations. I bring years of business experience and a sharp eye for ideas. On the side, I run Tomate, a project focused on cultural events and curation. That’s also how I met Juppe and Adrian – and how the idea behind Nivo came to life.
Julian Seitlinger
Strategic & Creative Partner
As co-founder of Nivo, I support management on branding, storytelling, and content direction. With a background in food, culture, and communication, I bring creative depth and an entrepreneurial mindset. Before Nivo, I co-founded Cracky with Adrian – turning a private dinner club into an international event agency.

The idea for Nivo originally came from me. Back at the Slow Food University in Piedmont, I started sending wine and delicacies to Germany. Later, I co-founded Cracky with Julian, an event agency with a culinary focus. At Nivo, I’m in charge of sales and PR – and make sure our story reaches the right people.

- You choose one of our curated boxes or create a custom version with us.
- You can pay directly via our online shop, or place a large or customized order with us via invoice.
- Once payment is received, we’ll send you a preformatted address list where you can simply fill in your recipients' addresses and return it to us.
- We take care of packaging, shipping, and—if desired—even communication with your recipients.
Our gift boxes are usually shipped within 5–7 business days after we receive your completed address list. For larger volumes or custom requests, we’ll inform you of the expected delivery time in advance.
Yes. In Germany, gift boxes can be declared as business gifts for clients, partners, or employees. As of 2024, the tax-deductible limit is €50 net per person per year (§ 4 Abs. 5 Nr. 1 EStG). Our boxes are priced at €49.90 net, making them fully deductible if the legal conditions are met. Your tax advisor can provide specific guidance—we always provide an invoice with VAT shown.
Absolutely. Just send us your text or design as a PDF or text file—we’ll handle printing and place the card in each box. If you prefer handwritten or personally signed cards, simply send them to us by mail—we’ll make sure they’re included.
Yes, our gift boxes are available starting from a minimum of 20 units.
Of course. Just return the filled-out address list we provide, and we’ll handle individual shipping to your clients or employees.
Yes. Upon request, we’ll create vegan, alcohol-free, or specially curated versions of our boxes—just as tasteful and premium as the originals. Let us know your preferences.
Yes. We carefully select each product and work exclusively with producers we know personally. Sustainability and quality are core to what we do.
Each box is priced at €49.90 net—including packaging, a greeting card, and shipping within Germany. For international billing or shipping, prices may vary slightly.
Yes. For qualifying quantities, we can add your logo, branded cards, custom products, or even fully customized packaging. Get in touch—we’ll make it happen.
